Pilot for Aurora Racing Team in the team’s inaugural race in Valência he reached pole-position and handed over the car to his co-pilot Isaac Tutumlu at the pilot change with a 21-second margin over 2nd place.
The race was not won by the team - which would have been an historical win for a team in their inaugural race in such a competitive championship - because of an incredible misjudgement by one of the firemen present.
